Privacy & Cookie Policy
Last updated 14 July 2025
This policy explains what personal information MINML collects when you use this website or get in touch, how and why we use it, and the choices you have. It also describes the cookies and local storage this site relies on.
Who we are
In this policy, "MINML", "we", "us" and "our" refer to MINML Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, with an address at Studio 2.12, Ink Rooms, 25-37 Easton Street, London WC1X 0DS. For anything relating to your privacy, contact us at founders@minml.co.uk. MINML Ltd is the data controller for the information described here.
Information we collect
Information you give us
If you contact us through the partnership form or by email, we collect what you choose to send: your name, email address, organisation and message, along with any optional details you add such as region or commodity. We use this only to read and respond to your enquiry.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the time of your visit. These logs help us keep the site secure, available and working correctly. We do not use this information to build a profile of you, and we do not run analytics, advertising or third-party tracking.
How and why we use your information
We use the information above to:
- respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, take steps toward a possible working relationship;
- operate, secure and maintain this website;
- keep records of our correspondence; and
- meet any legal or regulatory obligations that apply to us.
Our lawful bases under UK data protection law are our legitimate interests in running our business and answering enquiries, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and, where it applies, compliance with a legal obligation.
Cookies & local storage
A cookie is a small file a site can store on your device; local storage is a similar browser feature. This site uses only what is strictly necessary to function and to remember your preferences. We do not use analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Because these are strictly necessary, the site cannot function properly without them, so they are not subject to consent. You can review or change your cookie choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer, and you can block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. We do not currently load any analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies; if we introduce them in future, they will only be set if you accept, and we will update this policy.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the site and our business, and only so they can perform those services for us. These currently include Cloudflare, which hosts and serves this website, and Web3Forms, which processes and delivers the messages you send through our contact form. We may also disclose information where we are required to by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
International transfers
Some of our service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we take steps to ensure your information is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we need it to respond to you and to maintain reasonable business records, then delete it. Technical logs are kept only for a short period for security and reliability.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct, delete or restrict it, to object to certain uses, and to receive it in a portable form. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email founders@minml.co.uk.
If you have a concern we have not resolved, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep what you share with us safe.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of the page, and significant changes will be made clear on this page.
