Talon Hits 21.25m at 2.19 g/t Gold at PRISM's Top-Ranked Target
The first assays from Eagle Lake's maiden drill programme are back. The strongest intercept came from Cedar Trench, the target MINML's PRISM platform ranked highest on the property.

Talon Resources (AIM: TAR) has reported the first assay results from its maiden diamond drilling programme at the Eagle Lake Gold Project in north-western Ontario.
The headline result is from hole EG-26-07 at Cedar Trench, which Talon describes as "the highest-ranked target identified by MINML's PRISM machine learning platform". The hole returned 21.25m at 2.19 g/t gold from 64m, including 8.75m at 5.05 g/t from 76.5m. Within that interval sit 0.93m at 15.10 g/t and 1.25m at 17.08 g/t.
21.25m at 2.19 g/t gold, including 8.75m at 5.05 g/t, from the highest-ranked target on the property.
What the model said before the drill
Two months earlier, Talon published PRISM's ranking of the property. Cedar Trench sat at the 99.9th percentile of predicted prospectivity, the only drill area in the model's top class. The intercept is the first drill test of that call, and it is the strongest result of the programme so far.
The other results were more mixed. EG-26-06 returned a broad zone of 33.35m at 0.61 g/t. Holes EG-26-01 and EG-26-03 at East Fornieri Bay were weaker, with a best interval of 0.50m at 6.86 g/t. Every hole tells the model something, and the weaker holes are as useful as the strong ones for sharpening the next ranking.
What comes next
Talon's CEO, Alex King, said the EG-26-07 result "reinforces the work carried out by MINML, giving us another layer of data to interpret." The new assays now go back into PRISM to refine targeting ahead of further drilling, which Talon expects in spring 2027.
