Mila Resources (LSE: MILA) has reported further high-grade gold from its Yarrol Gold Project in Queensland, Australia. Its drilling now places gold mineralisation at about 170m vertical depth, against roughly 70m before.

The nine-hole, 1,400m programme restarted in August. It tested MINML's AI-ranked targets alongside Mila's geologically defined ones. Mila said its drilling was informed by an independent RSC review and a "machine-learning target generation workflow being developed in collaboration with MinML".

The intercepts

Hole MYARC0224 returned 43m at 1.06 g/t gold from 45m. Hole MYARC0225 returned 2m at 11.85 g/t, including 1m at 23.40 g/t. Mila said the results were consistent with the geological model "being refined in collaboration with MinML".

Gold mineralisation now extends to about 170m vertical depth.

From targets to a resource

In its final results on 21 October, Mila's Executive Chairman, Mark Stephenson, said the company had "engaged MINML, a UK-based AI geoscience specialist, to integrate machine learning into our target generation". The aim, he said, is to ensure its drilling programmes are "supported by the most rigorous data-driven targeting available".

Mila is targeting an initial Mineral Resource Estimate at Yarrol in the fourth quarter of 2026.
