Talon Resources Joins AIM with MINML as Its Targeting Partner
Talon Resources listed on AIM with a collaboration agreement with MINML at the heart of its exploration strategy in Ontario. Metals One invested in the listing the same day.
Talon Resources plc was admitted to AIM on 23 June 2026. The company holds 90% of the Eagle Lake Gold Project, 95 claims covering 1,985.88 ha in the Kenora Mining Division of north-western Ontario, with Gunsynd plc holding the remaining 10%.
In its admission announcement Talon said it "has entered into a collaboration agreement with MINML" to apply machine learning-assisted targeting at Eagle Lake and to generate new targets across the wider Wabigoon Subprovince. Its investor presentation, published three days later, described the arrangement as an exclusive partnership.
Talon's CEO, Alex King, said: "Through our partnership with MINML, we are combining technology-led target generation with traditional exploration expertise to identify and evaluate new opportunities capable of creating long-term shareholder value."
Metals One invests
On the same day Metals One plc (MET1) announced a strategic investment of £350,000 in Talon, for a stake of about 5.57%. Its Managing Director, Daniel Maling, pointed to the MINML partnership as part of the case:
We are also very interested in their technology-led target generation approach with MINML in the wider – highly prospective – region and look forward to following their developments.
Talon plans to use MINML's targeting to rationalise its drill targets at Eagle Lake ahead of a maiden drill programme, and to build a pipeline of new opportunities across the region.
